Apple unveils new MacBook Pro models with new M2 Pro and M2 Max chips

Apple has unveiled new MacBook Pro models in 14-inch and 16-inch sizes, equipped with M2 Pro and M2 Max chips, and offering longer battery life. You can place your order for these models through Apple’s online store or authorized resellers. They are expected to be available in Australia’s physical stores starting from Friday, February 3rd, 2023.

The latest models now have advanced features such as the Apple M2 Pro and M2 Max chips, which are next-generation silicon chips by Apple. Additionally, the battery life can last up to 22 hours, and the device supports up to 96GB of unified memory. The models also offer support for 8K displays and Wi-Fi 6E wireless connectivity.

Pricing and Release

In Australia, the starting Recommended Retail Price (RRP) for 14-inch MacBook Pro models is A$3,199, while 16-inch MacBook Pro models start at A$3,999. The price depends on the chosen model which includes features such as display size, processor (chip), memory, storage, and more. Apple online offers the option to customize models.

Apple is offering special Educational pricing on their online store for students and teachers of all educational institutes. This deal allows them to save up to A$480 off the Recommended Retail Price of a new MacBook Pro.

Apple has started accepting orders. They will be released around Australia on Friday, February 3rd, 2023.
